Tom Re: 5000C Ambassador Reel I have seen ebay postings of the tackle shop in Oklahoma trying to sell abu Garcia reels as some type of prototypes...I am not sure how true my memory is but I think I read that they have a lot of these reels they are trying to sell...so beware....Between Simon Shimomura's books and Daniel Skupien's I don't believe this is a factory prototype...but...Lol there is always exceptions to abu...Lol
